Low-Temperature Fold Tester

Used for: Testing TPU film’s flexibility, crack resistance, and structural integrity under -40℃ to -20℃ (simulating harsh cold environments) via cyclic bending (10,000+ cycles) to detect brittleness.

1.  Issue submission via dedicated QC hotline or email

4. Proposed solution presented within 24 hours

5. Implementation and verification within 48 hours

Our process includes root cause analysis to prevent recurrence and may involve:

  • Supplemental testing data
  • Process adjustments for future orders

  • Infrared Spectroscopy: We do chemical analysis to verify and confirms TPU films start from the right polymer for guaranteed results.
  • Physical Property Tests: We test for constant density and melting points which ensures a stable manufacturing process by ensuring the material behaves as expected.
  • Impurity & Contaminant Checks: We scan for any material that would jeopardize performance. This prevents defects such as weak spots or bubbles from developing in the film.

  • Mechanical Performance: Tensile strength and elongation tests verify whether our material achieves the required combination of stiffness and stretch.
  • Hardness & Durability: Hardness is quantitatively measured using the ASTM D2240 method, confirming surface resistance against mechanical wear.
  • Aging Resistance: The film is subjected to accelerated UV exposure to simulate years of service, confirming resistance to color shift and loss of optical clarity.
  • Final Verification: A last round of visual inspection and precise dimensional checks is performed to make certain the surface is uniformly clear and every film is within tight tolerances.
